The Department of Economics at Loyola University Maryland seeks to fill two (2) Full-Time non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor positions for the 2015-2016 academic year. The positions require teaching 4 courses each semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Candidates must have a Masters' degree (for the rank of Instructor) or be ABD or hold a Ph.D. (for the rank of Assistant). University teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. The successful applicant will show evidence of excellence in teaching and sustained engagement as a scholar or practitioner.

The Economics Department is in the Joseph A. Sellinger, S.J., School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland. The Sellinger School is AACSB-accredited in business and accounting and offers undergraduate, graduate, and Executive MBA programs. The university is ranked third among comprehensive universities in the Northern region by US News & World Report.
