The Department of Economics of Wake Forest University invites applications for a new endowed chair, the Burchfield Presidential Chair in Political Economy. This is a tenured position at the associate professor or full professor rank, effective July 1, 2016. Applicants should be distinguished teacher-scholars in the area of the economics and politics of public policy.

Application should be made through the JOE Network. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Two letters of reference will be requested after files are reviewed.

The Wake Forest Department of Economics offers two bachelor degree programs, in economics and mathematical economics.
