The Wesleyan University Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship to begin July 1, 2016 from scholars with research interests in financial economics or applied microeconomics. A successful candidate will be expected to teach financial economics electives, corporate and/or investment, as well as to contribute to the Department's introductory and major core programs. The teaching load is four courses per year. Additional duties include advising and mentoring students, carrying on a program of research, and participating in faculty governance at the departmental and university level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by July 1, 2016.
