The Department of Business and Economics at Wittenberg University seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor beginning August 2020. Wittenberg is committed to attracting and retaining highly qualified individuals who collectively reflect the diversity of our student body and society at-large. The successful candidate will demonstrate support for diversity, equity and inclusion as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment. We seek candidates prepared to teach intermediate macroeconomic theory, money and banking, and international trade and finance. The Department offers majors in Economics and Financial Economics, as well as majors in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. A dedication to excellent undergraduate teaching and advising is required.

We are excited for a new faculty member to join our community and collaborate with our curious students, engaged faculty and passionate alumni. We promote undergraduate student research. The teaching load is six courses per year. Successful applicants must be able to contribute to the general education program and the first-year seminar. A commitment to university and community service is expected. This position is open for renewal subject to enrollment demand.

A Ph.D. in Economics is preferred; ABD considered.
