Abt Associates is a mission-driven, global leader in research, evaluation, technical assistance, and program implementation in a range of policy areas. We are recruiting new and experienced PhD economists with strong quantitative research skills, research design experience and knowledge of important domestic public policy areas. Much of our research is at the frontier of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation methods, and Abt leads the field on technical assistance and implementation as well. We welcome applications that highlight experience with a variety of evaluation methods.

Abt’s Social and Economic Policy Division helps guide development of the nation’s prominent policies and programs. Our contributions have resulted in better policy on housing, community revitalization, education, workforce development, income security, food assistance, and in support of children, youth, and disadvantaged families. Our clients include federal agencies such as the Departments of Housing and Urban Development, Education, Health and Human Services, Labor, and Veterans Affairs, as well as state agencies, foundations, and nonprofit organizations. We welcome applications that highlight experience in related policy areas.
