Full Text of JOE Listing:

The University of Virginia's Department of Economics invites applications for the newly established Kenneth G. Elzinga Professorship in Economics and Law. This is an endowed, tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor (the position is with tenure; for associate professors, the distinguished professorship is a five year renewable term). We are particularly interested in candidates working on antitrust economics, including the topics of mergers, collusion, market power and market competition. Senior applicants should be established leaders in the field, with influential publications along with a record of teaching and advising Ph.D. students in their research. More junior applicants should have a strong publication record and demonstrated excellence in research. Collaboration with the University’s School of Law and the Batten School of Leadership & Public Policy is a possibility.
