A Ph.D. in Economics is required, though an ABD with a firm completion date by spring 2024 will also be considered. Candidates must have demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence, be ready to teach in an integrated, cross-disciplinary environment, with a strong international study body, and have an active research agenda, primarily in applied microeconomics. The Babson Economics Division is open to candidates with a variety of micro-focused research areas, including international trade, behavioral economics, economics of sustainability and econometrics. Particularly welcome are candidates who can bridge the gap between theory and practice, by having meaningful professional experience, and who bring global perspectives to their teaching and research.

All candidates will be evaluated based on their potential for meaningful scholarship that will result in publications in recognized refereed journals. The new faculty member will be expected to teach microeconomics in our undergraduate business program and may also teach in Babson’s graduate MBA and specialized Master’s programs.
