MSI is pursuing a contract with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) to evaluate domestic and international projects. We are now accepting expressions of interests from senior and mid-level consultants with expertise in economics and/or labor topics.

Required:
-Master’s degree in economics or related field.
-5+ years working in one or more in DOL Topic Areas: Apprenticeship, Behavioral Interventions, Community College, Data Methods and Tools, Disability and Employment, Employer Compliance - Wages and Earnings, Employment and Training, International Labor Issues, Substance Use Disorder and Work, Reentry, Research on Performance Management, Unemployment Insurance, Worker Leave, and Worker Protection and Workplace Benefits.
-5+ years applying economic and labor expertise to evaluations or research activities.
-Excellent oral and written presentation skills, including leading technical report writing on complex topics.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and oversee team members.

Preferred:
-2+ years leading or supervising evaluation/research teams.
-Experience working with DOL or similar agencies.
-Demonstrated experience designing and implementing rigorous (e.g., experimental or quasi-experimental) evaluations or research activities.
-Experience designing and implementing household or firm-level surveys.
-Experience and facility with empirical economic analysis—ideally of large data sets¬—including exploratory data analysis and causal modeling.
-Expertise with statistical software packages.
