Job Description: Fixed-term Associate Professor/Lecturer in Macroeconomics (KIMAP Macroeconomics)

Job Duties: The successful applicant should be actively engaged with research in his/her field. As part of our on-going efforts to expand programs taught in English, the successful applicant is required to teach the following courses every year;
1) Two macroeconomics courses (2 credits each) at the master’s level
2) One Intermediate Macroeconomics (2 credits) at the undergraduate level
3) One English literacy course focusing on academic writing (2 credits) at the undergraduate level
It should be noted that 2 credits course at Kobe University consists of 15 lectures and each lecture lasts for 90 minutes.

Employment Conditions: Full-time, 3 years fixed-term contract (non-renewable)

Starting Date: October 1st, 2023

Qualifications: The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications;
1) Must be a native English speaker or have native-level fluency in English
2) Must hold a Ph.D. in economics by the starting date
3) Must demonstrate a record of high-quality research in economics

Selection Process: 1st round selection will be made based on the documents submitted. Final round selection will be made based on the candidates’ job seminar and interview (on-site or on-line).
