In Mexico, export manufacturing requires less education than other jobs
Education profiles for young workers (aged 16-28) in four sectors of the Mexican economy in 2000. Employees in export manufacturing jobs tend to have less education on average than workers in other manufacturing jobs or the rest of the formal sector covered by the Mexican Social Security Institute.
