This notice is posted at the request of the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is looking for help in shaping a possible new youth survey in the National Longitudinal Surveys (NLS) program.
As you may know, the NLS are a set of surveys designed to gather information over time on labor market experiences and other significant life events of men and women. The current active NLS cohorts are the NLSY97, the NLSY79, and the NLSY79 Young Adult. BLS is in the process of identifying the need for a potential new cohort of the survey, the NLSY26, which could begin in 2026.
BLS has asked for your feedback via a survey about the NLSY26, even if you are not a frequent user of NLS products. If you decide to participate, the survey will take you around 20 minutes to complete. Please access the survey by visiting the following secure website on your computer or mobile device:

If you are unfamiliar with the NLS, BLS has many helpful brochures and fact sheets that provide information on various aspects of the NLS, including but not limited to, employment, health, and education.
