The 2027 Annual Meeting will be held on January 3–5, 2027 (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) in Washington, DC. The headquarters hotel is the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC.

The AEA submission portal is closed. The deadline for individual paper proposals was April 1, 2026, and the deadline for complete session proposals was April 15, 2026.

Registration and housing will open on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10:00 am ET.

Initial job market interviews will be held virtually, thus reducing the rush for rooms and suites in preferred hotels.
