Creighton University College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Economics for Fall 2014. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Economics, but ABD candidates will also be considered. The preferred candidate will teach courses in Time-series Analysis and Forecasting, have an applied research focus, and have the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. The candidate must demonstrate evidence of quality teaching and the potential for significant research in Economics. The College of Business is AACSB accredited and offers an undergraduate business degree and several graduate business degrees. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Interested candidates should submit their current vita, letter of interest, research sample, teaching portfolio, and three (3) letters of recommendation. Preliminary interviews will be at the American Economic Association annual meeting in January 2014.
