Applications are invited from ambitious researchers in Economics for several positions at junior, intermediate and senior levels. The Economics Department at Lancaster is part of LUMS - a world-ranked international business school which has topped the UK research rankings for nearly two decades. Economics is a self-standing department and one of the largest in the School. There is very strong demand for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and it has a thriving PhD community. The Department provides an excellent research environment and has strong links across disciplines within the School and beyond. The Department has transformed in recent years and these positions consolidate the development.

Applicants for the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor appointment will additionally require sustained publication success at an international standard.

We are open to applications across the board but interests in micro, behavioral, experimental, econometrics, and environment, would be particularly welcome.
