The Managerial Economics and Strategy Group in the Department of Management invites applications from candidates with proven research ability and teaching experience for the post of Assistant Professor. This is an exciting tenure-track opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team at a world-class university. Recent hires into this expanding group include Catherine Thomas, Yona Rubinstein and Luis Rayo.

In this role you will contribute to the Department's activities including publishing research and teaching
graduate and undergraduate courses in management. In addition, you will supervise groups of students and actively participate in the intellectual life of the School overall.

You will have a PhD (completed or near completion) in economics or business economics. A developing record of research with clear potential for publication in leading journals is essential. In addition, you will have experience of teaching Management courses in a higher education institution at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Expertise in the area of business and managerial economics is required, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills.

The post will start from 1st September 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
