The Department of Marketing Communication at Emerson College invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach one section of Principles of Economics in Spring 2014. Part of the College's General Education program, the course is microeconomics with a focus on consumer theory. Spring 2014 classes begin Wednesday, January 15 and the final exam period ends Friday, May 9.
The instructor will be responsible for all lectures, exams, and grading, but can discuss materials with our full time economics faculty member. The class will enroll 25-35 students and compensation is paid per course.

Q Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics; Environmental and Ecological Economics
Candidates at all stages of the career cycle are welcome to apply. A Ph.D. in economics or substantial progress toward that degree is preferred, but an MBA and relevant professional experience will also be considered. College-level teaching experience is preferred.
