General Duties and Responsibilities: Build an internationally recognized research program in agricultural, environmental, resource, or development economics. This program should address current and emerging state and national issues. Publish in quality academic journals and communicate research results and expertise to policy makers, industry, and other constituencies. Collaborate with other faculty members, direct graduate students, and obtain extramural funding to support graduate students. The teaching appointment will be three classes per year. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching is expected.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, or Economics is required with strong knowledge of economic theory and quantitative methods and excellent oral and written communication skills. The position is open to highly qualified individuals from all fields within economics.
