Iowa State University, College of Human Sciences, Department of Human Development and Family Studies Opening in Family Finance. Applications are invited for a tenured/tenure track faculty position in the area of personal/family finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, beginning August 2014. We seek candidates who are dedicated to high quality research, teaching and service; and are interested in joining a dynamic and growing multidisciplinary faculty. Position responsibilities include maintaining a strong program of research, seeking external funding, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising graduate students, and contributing to the university's land-grant mission. ISU is a member of the American Association of Universities.
Successful candidates will possess an earned doctorate in family/consumer/household economics, financial planning, human development and family studies, or related fields including economics, agricultural economics, business, social work, or public policy. An appointment at the rank of Associate Professor will require an established record of scholarly publications and external funding appropriate for a research university dedicated to its land-grant mission.
