AHCA is seeking a Senior Research Analyst with a commitment to improving lives by delivering solutions for quality care. This role will be responsible for supporting long term care quality improvement and advocacy efforts and will strategically design, develop and implement data analytics using large national data sets. This role focuses on managing and analyzing large complex data sets to measure quality of care, evaluate the impact of regulations and reimbursement policies at the national or state level, and prepare and disseminate through LTC Trend Tracker member facility information.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Master's degree in relevant field, SAS programmer certification or similar expertise a plus. 3 to 5 years' experience in the field desired.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Advanced research methods & statistics;
- Excellent statistical software programming, database, and PC skills;
- Experience with healthcare data and large databases;
- Competency in data manipulation and analysis;
- Understanding of economics, statistics, and health care;
- Ability to manage multiple projects;
- Skills in the development and implementation of primary data surveys helpful;
- Ability to communicate data analysis effectively, both orally and in writing.
