The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in the Division of Applied Social Sciences, College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (DASS/CAFNR) at the University of Missouri (MU) seeks applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant/Associate Professor to support its program in Agribusiness Management/Agricultural Economics. This is a 100% undergraduate teaching position. A teaching load of 3-4 courses per semester is anticipated, likely to include one or more large introductory courses in microeconomics/macroeconomics. In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will provide a leadership role in the Department's undergraduate program, advise undergraduate students, and also contribute through other service roles at multiple levels: department, division, college, and university.
Qualifications:
--PhD in economics, agricultural economics, business or a related field is required.
--Previous undergraduate teaching experience is required, with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
--Successful experience with e-learning and technology-related educational innovation is preferred.
--Prior undergraduate advising experience is preferred.
