The Department of Economics invites Applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant level beginning July, 2014. Minimum requirements: A PhD in economics, including all theoretical and applied fields offered in internationally recognized universities. The candidate must support at least one of the areas of interest of the Department, i.e., tourism economics, economics of transportation, urban economics, economic planning, health economics, economic education, quantitative methods, economics of energy, economics of telecommunications and emerging areas. It is highly desirable that the candidate dominate Spanish in oral and written form, but all applications will be considered.
