The Department of Economics announces a search for a one-year position at the visiting assistant professor rank, effective August, 2014. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for strong teaching and research, will be expected to teach a 3-3 course load including a variety of introductory and advanced courses. Applicants must have research and teaching interests in open economy macroeconomics and development. The ability to teach a course on Latin American development is also desired. Candidates should hold a Ph.D in Economics by the time of appointment.
Gettysburg College is a highly selective liberal arts college located within 90 minutes of the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.
