The Department seeks to fill two tenure-track Assistant Professor Positions. The positions are each budgeted at 60% teaching and 40% research or 40% extension. There is flexibility in the allocation of effort based on departmental needs and candidate experience.
Responsibilities Include:
-- Develop and deliver internationally recognized teaching and research or extension programs
-- Teach three classes a year at the undergraduate and graduate levels; the specific appointments will be based on department needs and applicant's areas of expertise
-- Advise and direct research by undergraduate and graduate students
-- Attract grant funds to support teaching and research/extension programs
Minimum Requirements:
-- Earned doctoral degree in agricultural economics, applied economics, economics, or closely related field
-- Commitment to excellence in classroom instruction
-- Strong record of academic achievement
-- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Salary and Benefits: commensurate with qualifications
