Multiple one-year full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the level of Instructor, Professorial Lecturer, or Assistant Professor for AY 2014-2015 with possibility of renewal available for a second year AY 2015-2016, based on budgetary authorization and satisfactory performance.
We seek candidates specializing in any field or discipline in international relations. We are especially interested in applicants who can teach in one or more of the following areas:
Africa (Political economy, development, politics)
Cybersecurity
Environmental Peacebuilding
Global Governance
Human Rights
International Development
International Economics
International Policy Analysis
International Political Economy
Latin America (Political economy, development, politics)
Major and Emerging Powers
Political Economy of Oil and Energy
Program Evaluation
Quantitative Research Methods
Qualitative Research Methods
Social Media
Transnational Security
U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security
Doctorate or equivalent strongly preferred; previous university teaching experience preferred. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching; participation in School's curriculum and program development; student advising; and University service.
The School of International Service is ranked by its peers as a top ten international relations program at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and consists of more than 100 full-time faculty working across multiple disciplines.
