Avar Consulting, Inc. is a social science research firm that provides a wide range of professional services in the areas of survey research, program evaluation, data analysis/management, and IT support. Our clients are primarily federal government agencies. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst and a Research Analyst to join our team.

Senior Analyst – requires a Ph.D. in economics, accounting, public policy or related social science field, or a Master's degree with at least five years of relevant experience. The position is open to candidates with a strong research background and ability to apply appropriate techniques to collect, analyze and report quantitative data. The position requires strong writing and communication skills. Knowledge in evaluation design and labor-related subjects are preferred.

Research Analyst – requires a Master's degree in economics, accounting, public policy or related social science field, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience. The research analyst candidate must have statistical analysis skills and strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge in evaluation design and labor-related subjects are preferred.
