The Department of Economics in the College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Candidates with a background in macroeconomics and monetary economics are preferred, and must be able to teach money and banking, money and capital markets, and econometrics. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, willingness to engage students in research, and a scholarly research agenda appropriate for a university emphasizing undergraduate education. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Ph.D. in economics is required. ABD candidates will be considered; degree must be completed by August 2015.
