The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) Mannheim, Germany, is one of the leading scientific economic research institutes in Europe. The ZEW is a non-profit organization and works in the field of frontier empirical economic research and high level policy advice. It is integrated into an extensive national and international network of universities and research institutes.

To strengthen our team we are seeking to employ
Researchers (Postdocs)
in the following fields:
• International Finance and Macroeconomics
• Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy (esp. program evaluation and youth labour markets)
• Corporate Taxation and Public Finance (esp. taxation and fiscal federalism)
• International Distribution and Redistribution (esp. labour and public economics)

Who should apply?
A postdoc is eligible to apply if he/she has
• a PhD degree in economics/business administration or related studies
• a very good knowledge of empirical methods (statistics, econometrics, and/or CGE modelling)
• a strong interest in applied economic research
• the ability to work in a team and at the same time the competence to work on his/her own
• a command of German (helpful but not required)
