The Department of Environmental Sciences in Emory College seeks an Environmental or Ecological Economist at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level to begin Fall 2015. We are seeking candidates with expertise in economic perspectives whose research is at the intersection of humans and their environment. Candidates specializing in ecological economics, natural resource economics, bioeconomics, ecosystem services, natural capital, or linked ecological social systems dynamics are encouraged to apply. Teaching areas will include ecological economics, sustainability and courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a commitment to and excellence in scholarly research and teaching. Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a personal statement (which may be included in the cover letter) summarizing contributions to multidisciplinary culture in research and teaching.
