Creighton University Heider College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position of any rank for Fall 2015. The ideal candidate will conduct policy relevant research in Macroeconomics or Public Economics for the Institute for Economic Inquiry. Teaching responsibilities include courses in both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and others depending on specialization and departmental needs. Candidates will be engaged in extracurricular student development activities (e.g. student research, reading groups). In addition, faculty affiliated with the Institute for Economic Inquiry are expected to engage in business community outreach activities. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of quality teaching and policy relevant research in Economics. The Heider College of Business is AACSB accredited and offers an undergraduate business degree, BSBA, and several graduate business degrees. Interested candidates should submit their current vita, letter of interest, research sample, teaching portfolio, and three letters of recommendation. Preliminary interviews will take place at the 2014 Southern Economic Association annual meetings and the American Economic Association annual meeting in January 2015.
