The American College of Radiology, the premier association for radiologists, seeks a Research Fellow to work in its Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute.
The Research Fellow will independently design and execute health services research studies and projects based on health services data; prepare scientific research reports and scholarly papers summarizing research findings from studies; identify both grant opportunities and collaborative partnerships that are beneficial to the Neiman Institute’s stated aims and objectives; mentor and train staff in data management, statistical analysis, and the conducting of health services research; and take ownership of key administrative functions as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have a PhD level degree preferably in Health Services Research, Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or similar field oriented to data-analysis; at least three years working on independent data analyses and writing reports and/or manuscripts; at least two years working with SAS; experience working with complex data systems, such as registry data or claims data; strong project management skills; and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
