Econ One is a consulting firm with offices in Berkeley, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Houston, and Washington DC. We provide research, consulting and expert advice on a range of economic issues (primarily in litigation support). Our clients include some of the world largest and most respected law firms and businesses. Econ One is often called upon to supply economic expertise for use in court cases or regulatory matters--particularly in the areas of financial services, antitrust, regulation, intellectual property, damages analysis and valuation.

We are seeking new and experienced candidates with a Ph.D. in economics (or related field) with an emphasis in applications of microeconomic theory, industrial organization and/or financial econometrics. Candidates with more than two years of experience will be considered for more senior positions. Verbal and presentation skills are critical--candidates must be able to clearly communicate economic concepts to business and legal professionals. Candidates should expect a fast paced and intellectually challenging environment. We encourage candidates to continue publishing their own research and provide time and opportunity to continue their research agendas.
