Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure eligible position for the Spring 2015 semester. This is a replacement for a faculty member on Sabbatical Leave. Compensation includes salary and full benefits.
The primary responsibility will be to teach four sections of economics courses. The successful candidate will be asked to teach multiple sections of introductory economics courses and, possibly, an advanced-level course.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by January 5, 2015.
Minimum qualifications are a recent ABD in Economics (within 3 years) and evidence of teaching effectiveness. Preferred qualifications are PhD in Economics, demonstrated teaching excellence and experience teaching either a course in intermediate macroeconomics or government regulation of business.You must submit an online application to be considered an applicant for this position.

The Economics Department is composed of 21 full-time faculty members (14 tenured or tenure-track) and is one of seven departments housed in the College of Business Administration. The Department offers undergraduate majors in Economics and Law and Economics as well as a master’s degree which attracts a large percentage of international students.
