[Job #7622] Humboldt State University’s School of Business invites applications for an academic year tenure-track faculty position in Finance. An earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Finance or related field is required at the time of appointment. Financial economists who have a strong grounding in Finance will be considered. Candidates should have the ability and/or interest in teaching a broad range of Finance courses such as Principles of Finance, Corporate Valuation, International Finance, and Financial Investments, and must demonstrate the following: commitment to and/or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds; potential for effective teaching or teaching experience using a variety of methodologies; record of, or potential for, involving students in research and scholarly activity; and willingness to participate in the development of online learning experiences. Candidates should be committed to teaching excellence and to building a strong research record.
