Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) invites applications for a renewable Professor of Professional Practice position in the field of urban policy with a specialization in sustainability and economic development. The position will begin July 1, 2015 or as soon thereafter as mutually agreeable.

SIPA is seeking an outstanding practitioner to teach in and contribute to its dynamic and growing graduate programs, research and professional practice in the fields of the urban policy and sustainability.

Applicants for this position must have a demonstrated record of outstanding professional accomplishments and show promise as an effective instructor at SIPA. At least a masters degree required; Ph.D. or terminal degree preferred.

Candidates will be expected to remain active practitioners and contributors in their profession, and demonstrate teaching effectiveness at SIPA.
