The Department of Economics at Iona College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Department seeks a generalist willing to teach in a variety of areas, preferably in money and banking, financial markets and public policy. Excellence in teaching is expected as well as an active research program. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Economics. The position is a tenure track full-time appointment with a 4-4 load beginning August 24, 2015. Finalists will be required to teach a demonstration class as part of the application process.

Required qualifications: a Ph.D. in Economics (but highly qualified ABDs will also be considered); relevant teaching experience and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
