The Economics Department at Emory & Henry College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, Visiting Assistant Professor (Ph.D) or Visiting Instructor (ABD preferred; or Masters of Economics with substantial teaching experience) for the 2015-2016 academic year, with possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach introductory and intermediate microeconomics along with upper level topics courses. We are particularly interested in someone who can teach at least two of the following: Public Finance, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, Economic History, and Labor Economics. Teaching load is seven courses per year with multiple intro sections. Preference will be given to candidates who have a proven record of teaching excellence and who value a heterodox approach to teaching and research.
