The Department of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health at Yale University is accepting applications for a postdoctoral associate or associate research scientist position. This position is for a researcher with interests related to addictive behaviors and with the desire to work in a trans-disciplinary capacity with researchers in economics, sociology, public health, health policy, psychiatry, and medicine. The department is interested in an investigator with expertise in substance (alcohol, drugs, or tobacco) or behavioral (gambling, food, sex, or internet) addictions as they relate to public health research areas such as policy analysis, healthcare utilization, program evaluation, cost-effectiveness, or behavioral economics. Applications from individuals with strong quantitative skills are encouraged.
The position will be appointed in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health, and the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse, a new policy, research, and dissemination program at Yale. The position is available for 1-4 years and can begin as early as Spring 2016.
