The JPMorgan Chase Institute is a global think tank dedicated to delivering data-rich analyses and expert insights for the public good. Using JPMorgan Chase’s proprietary data and expertise, the Institute develops analyses on the inner workings of the global economy, frames critical problems, and convenes stakeholders and leading thinkers.

The Institute seeks research associates who will bring the best of quantitative social sciences to lead and conduct original, cutting-edge research on consumer finance, financial markets or business topics using proprietary big data within JPMorgan Chase. Associates will lead efforts to scope and execute research projects, manage a team of research professionals, and help build the Institute as an organization.

All candidates will be considered, but the role may be best suited for new PhDs to those 7 years out. We are particularly seeking candidates who have a strong background in econometrics and experience with big data; especially experience in using R, Stata, Python or SQL.

We will interview candidates on a rolling basis until all positions have been filled.
