The Graduate School of Future Strategy at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels in the areas related with economic policy and strategy.

We seek to make multiple appointments and invite applications from candidates who has expertise and high interest in economic policy and strategy research on the futures.

We seek applicants who are enthusiastic about working in an evolving KAIST’s multidisciplinary environment. Successful candidates should have outstanding research accomplishments and will be expected to pursue innovative and independent research in one or more substantive areas above.

The School was established in 2013 to pursue excellence in interdisciplinary research and educations in economic policy and strategy research. For further information, please refer to the school website (http://futures.kaist.ac.kr).

Teaching and other conditions:
Tenured track faculty is expected to teach between two and three courses per year depending on his/her research productivity and area. Teaching responsibilities will include both graduate and undergraduate courses. Seed money for junior faculty research and salary will be also commensurate to U.S. business schools and economic department including other benefits, e.g. housing. Persons of all race, nationality, and background will be considered.

Applicants must have a Ph. D. or should be expecting to receive one, at least, by June, 2016. Application including a resume, a cover letter, research papers and three letters of recommendation should be sent by email to Faculty Search Committee Chair (fstrategy.kaist@gmail.com).
