International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is growing in size and influence in pursuit of its vision to be a leading international business school. IBSS recently became the youngest business school to be accredited from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).

IBSS is seeking applicants with research interests either in economics or related interdisciplinary disciplines, particularly from the fields of Macroeconomics, Financial Economics and Mathematical Economics who have strong Econometrics background. Applicants interested in teaching Economics in MBA level are also encouraged.

The salary range is 31,166-42,546 RMB/month (Associate Professor), and 19,971-30,701 RMB/month (Lecturer) plus accommodation and travel allowances, medical insurance and relocation expenses. Overseas staff may receive a tax holiday of up to three years, depending on nationality and personal circumstances.

IBSS is located in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) - a major growth zone, hosting one-fifth of the Fortune 500 companies and 25 minutes from Shanghai by high-speed train. Suzhou is the fourth largest concentration of economic activity in China in terms of GDP and is a famed tourist destination.
