The Department of Economics announces a search for a one-year position at the visiting assistant professor rank, effective August, 2016. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for strong teaching and research, will be expected to teach a 3-3 course load including a variety of introductory and advanced courses. Applicants must have research and teaching interests in macroeconomics. Candidates should hold a Ph.D in Economics by the time of appointment.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a commitment to teaching in the liberal arts tradition and show clear potential for scholarly engagement. We seek an Economist trained in macroeconomics, capable of teaching all levels of undergraduate students.
