The Asian Development Bank’s South Asia Department (SARD) is seeking qualified Senior Public Management Economists (i) to identify, design, process and administer loans , technical assistance and non-lending products and services in the areas of public resource management; (ii) lead policy discussions with concerned Government officials and contribute to the formulation and articulation of fiscal policies, public management strategies, and regulatory issues for developing member countries (DMCs) in South Asia; (iii) develop pipeline and lead in overall program implementation; and (iv) create high quality knowledge products on the relevant issues pertaining to economic management and to support ADB’s activities. Requires a Master’s degree in economics or other related fields or a University degree combined with specialized experience in similar organizations in lieu of a Master’s degree; a strong background in a reputed research institution or in a multilateral agency, working on similar issues pertaining to finances of national, sub-national and local Governments in multiple countries, preferably in South Asia .
