Leads complex data gathering efforts, analyses and administrative studies department-specific or enterprise issues.

Job Duties:
Conducts complex data gathering and analysis efforts for senior management at the CoSA and enterprise levels. Frequently leads teams. Presents results to management. Makes recommendations on appropriate courses of action.
Reviews organizational functions and structures. Evaluates job functions to ensure efficient alignment of employee roles and assignments.
Supports project management and process engineering processes by participating directly on projects or providing support analysis. Also supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Understands department, CoSA and USAA goals, objectives and strategies. Analyzes products, components and services. Recommends changes. May also analyze billing processes.
Participates in the creation of CoSA or enterprise procedures and guidelines. Recommends changes that could facilitate business decisions impacting inter- and intra-company business applications.
Assists in the planning, requirements development and execution of enterprise project activities.

Preferred:
Master's in quantitative discipline with emphasis on business analytics or MBA.
5+ years experience in a decision support analytic function.
Experience working with large datasets.
Experience with data mining tools such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau.
Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to communicate financial and analytical information effectively.
Ability to manage relationships with internal customers
