Waseda Institute for Advanced Study (WIAS), Waseda University, was established in September 2006 to enable promising and talented researchers, fixed-term faculty, to focus on research activities in a rich research environment. The Institute is currently recruiting researchers for Assistant Professor or Associate Professor positions; the details are as follows.

Appointment Positions: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (without tenure)

Period of Employment: Three years from date of appointment. In principle, from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2020.

Application qualifications: Persons with a doctorate, or, those who are expected to obtain a doctorate by April 1, 2017.

Research fields: Any discipline of Social Science is acceptable.

Salary: A salary will be paid in accordance with regulations concerning payment of salary of Waseda University.
