The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy is seeking applications for a tenured or tenure-track position in applied microeconomics, rank open. We are seeking someone with a Ph.D. in economics, policy, management or related field who will teach microeconomics to public policy students at the graduate and undergraduate levels and advise graduate students on Georgia Tech’s Atlanta campus.
We seek to expand our existing strengths in one or more of the core areas of the department, including: science, technology and innovation policy; climate, energy and environmental policy; information and communications technology policy; urban economic development and smart cities; and ethical inquiry in research and teaching. We also seek to expand our expertise in health policy. Our work benefits from synergies with Georgia Tech’s world-class engineering, data analytics and computer science, design and planning, and biomedical engineering capabilities, and a tradition of interdisciplinary innovative research. Basic job duties will include teaching, research, and service to the school.
