The cluster seeks to advance research in the emerging and rapidly evolving field of tobacco product control in ways that will ultimately make a difference in reducing the harm caused by the greatest preventable cause of death in our society. A successful candidate will also advance research in other public health issues that are subject to regulatory actions, such as food, beverages and alcohol. The successful candidate will be joined by a new faculty hire in the School of Public Health and a new faculty hire in the College of Law.

The Andrew Young School is ranked among the top 25 policy schools in the U.S. The school houses the university’s Department of Economics, with 34 tenure-track faculty and outstanding research centers in health policy, fiscal policy, experimental, and international studies, among others.
