The Survey Research Center in the Institute for Social Research plans to make an open-rank scientist appointment to the Michigan Federal Statistical Research Data Center (MFSRDC). The MFSRDC seeks to hire a part-time Executive Director. The MCRDC is a joint project of the University of Michigan and the Census Bureau to provide qualified researchers access to non-public data from the federal statistical system. For more information see: https://community.isr.umich.edu/public/mcrdc/Home.aspx The Executive Director oversees the MFSRDC for the university, works with Census Bureau and other statistical agency staff and management, and works with researchers to gain access and conduct research, engages in outreach, and conducts her or his own research. Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics, demography, statistics, sociology, psychology, or other social science; substantial experience in research and administrative abilities.
