The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Econometrics at the Assistant Professor level. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in research and teaching in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the January AEA meetings in Chicago.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level at full salary requires a Ph.D. as of August 2017. Faculty duties include the development of a distinguished and visible program of research as well as teaching.

Applicants for the position should use either (but not both) the AEA JOE submission system or Econjobmarket.org. Submissions should include a cover letter, CV, job market paper, statement of teaching interests and evidence of teaching effectiveness; you will also need to designate three references who will be contacted by the system for letters of recommendation. Again, please use only one channel of submission.

We will commence reviewing submissions on November 20th, 2016, and will schedule interviews at the AEA meetings shortly thereafter.
