The Keith Group (keith.seas.harvard.edu) is seeking to hire a post-doctoral economics fellow as part of its rapidly growing team of researchers focused on solar geoengineering, funded by the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University as part of a two-year Weatherhead Initiave on Climate Engineering (wcfia.harvard.edu/weatherhead_initiative/climate-engineering).
Depending on background and interest, the post-doctoral fellow will work on one or more topics related to the economics of solar geoengineering, including but not limited to optimal climate policy with learning and uncertainty, international strategic interactions, the governance of solar geoengineering, and public opinion surveys and social science field experiments around perception of solar geoengineering.
Postdoctoral fellows will receive an annual stipend of $70,000. The appointment begins 1 July 2017 or as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will be housed in the Keith Group. Prof. David Keith has joint appointments at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Harvard Kennedy School.
