Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Banking

• Opportunity to contribute to teaching and research in banking and work in a collaborative and supportive environment
• Full-time, continuing: $117K - $165K p.a. which includes salary, leave loading and up to 17% super
• An additional salary supplement may be negotiated with the successful applicant and start up research funds and ongoing research support will be available
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Banking. Applicants working in any major area(s) falling within theoretical and/or empirical banking are encouraged to apply.
In this position you will:
• teach banking units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels to culturally-diverse student cohorts, and provide curriculum development in banking
• make a contribution to the research strengths of the discipline, including the pursuit of research grants and regular publication in journals of high standing
• supervise research higher degree students
• be involved in interdisciplinary collaborations within the University and with external stakeholders
• contribute to academic administration.

Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the FMA conference in 2016 and the AFA conference in 2017 (for those candidates who are attending these events). Interview dates will be chosen (as far as possible) to accommodate each short-listed candidate.
